BHL Auto Edit
A reviewed path from finished edit to an operator-controlled YouTube upload. It is owned and operated by Better Human Labs LLC for one personally controlled channel, not offered as a public uploader or user account service.
A bounded workflow
The operator stays in control.
Auto Edit supports Better Human Labs' own video workflow. A publishing run starts only after the current edit and upload details are reviewed and the operator explicitly starts it.
Start publishing explicitly
There is no recurring upload trigger. Intended use is up to roughly one operator-started upload per week, with skipped weeks normal.
Publish privately first
After required approval, the bounded API path is designed to upload privately, set the reviewed thumbnail and playlist, schedule the video, and read the result back for verification.
YouTube API Services
One scope, for one publishing workflow.
Auto Edit's installed OAuth client requests only youtube.force-ssl. If the API
path is enabled after approval, that scope supports the complete bounded workflow: identify
the authorized channel and playlist, upload a private video and thumbnail, add or remove its
playlist item, verify or update the operator-owned video's metadata and status, and remove
only a receipt-owned private test artifact.
The narrower upload-only permission cannot perform the required channel, playlist, readback, or receipt-bound cleanup steps. Auto Edit does not request partner or restricted scopes.
It does not use
- YouTube Analytics or advertising data
- comments, subscribers, contacts, or Google Drive data
- YouTube or Google passwords
- scraping, audiovisual downloads, or unrelated Google data
- public-content deletion or arbitrary account actions
Data handling
Local, limited, and operator-only.
Stored on one credential host
The Desktop OAuth client, access and refresh tokens, channel configuration, and private operation receipts stay in owner-only private files on Better Human Labs' OptiPlex. They are not stored by this website, in a public repository, or on rendering workers.
Used only to provide the feature
Google user data is not sold, used for advertising, transferred to data brokers, or used to train generalized AI models. Access is limited to the sole authorized operator and the disclosed publishing workflow.
Revocable and deletable
The operator can disconnect Auto Edit through Google Account permissions or request local deletion by email. Stored YouTube API Data is refreshed or deleted on policy deadlines. The detailed retention and deletion commitments are in our Privacy Policy.
