This Privacy Policy explains how Better Human Labs LLC ("Better Human Labs," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with our company website at betterhumanlabs.co (the "Site"). It covers the Site, not the separate products we build.
Information the Site collects
We keep Site data collection to a minimum.
- Information you send us. If you email us (for example, at hello@betterhumanlabs.co), we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message.
- Technical data. Our hosting and content-delivery provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes standard technical information, such as IP address, browser type, and request time, to serve and secure the Site, and produces aggregate traffic statistics from that processing.
The Site does not use tracking cookies, advertising trackers, or third-party analytics that profile you across the web. Its pages load no analytics or tracking script and request no resources from other domains.
How we use and share Site information
- To respond to messages and inquiries you send us.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site.
- To understand Site usage and page performance.
- To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.
We do not sell personal information. We share Site information only with service providers that help us operate the Site, and only as needed for them to perform those services, or where required by law. Cloudflare's handling of information is described in its Privacy Policy.
Separate product policies
HabitHouse and ServiceDeck are separate Better Human Labs products. HabitHouse's published Privacy Policy is available on its own website. ServiceDeck is in development, and its product policies are not published here. This website policy does not describe how either product handles app data.
Cookies
The Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and does not use local storage to measure visits. Any cookies used by our content-delivery provider are for security and reliability, not tracking or advertising.
Data retention
We keep messages you send us for as long as needed to respond and maintain our records, then delete them within a reasonable period. Site technical logs are retained only for a limited time for security and operational purposes. Cloudflare keeps its own request logs and aggregate traffic statistics under its policies; we do not set a retention period for those.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at hello@betterhumanlabs.co.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above.
